Neiman Taber is pleased to announce that our ADU submission was selected by a jury of local design and architectural experts as one of the new designs to be included in the expanded gallery of pre-approved plans on ADUniverse. A second NTA submission also received an honorable mention. The City received 110 submissions and selected 15 plans, along with five honorable mentions.
These City-approved plans make it faster and easier to build ADUs. Given their smaller size and lack of additional land cost, ADUs can offer a lower-cost housing option in neighborhoods where homes are out of reach for most people. This is a small but important step we can take to address Seattle’s acute housing crisis, and we’re excited to be a part of it.
